Soroptimist International (SI) is the umbrella organisation with four Federations:

  • The Americas
  • Great Britain and Ireland
  • Europe
  • South West Pacific



How is Soroptimist International organized in Europe and Germany?

Soroptimist International of Europe (SI/E) has 1220 Clubs in 67 countries and territories including 28 Unions.

The German Union, which consists of five districts, has currently 181 Clubs and 5.200 members.

The Club Ludwigshafen is the 19th Club of the German Union and belongs to the district IV.



What relation does Soroptimist International have with the Council of Europe?

Soroptimist International is one of over 400 NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) with a consultative status at the Council of Europe in Strasbourg.
